Compressor 4.2.1 chose disk to export to
Somehow the interface on Compressor 4.2.1 is too slick for me. I want to send the output to another drive, but can’t find how to set the destination. It is simple in earlier versions, but I am missing a click somewhere. Normally it just goes to my Movie file.

When you’re adding an Output, dropdown the Location options and select Other… then navigate to the location you want to save the output to.

Thanks. Since I normally dragged in some setting from the left side of the window instead of hitting the plus sign under the file sent in from FCPX, I didn’t have the grey box come up. Once I hit the plus, it works. Sometimes Apple interfaces are just to clean.

Yea, it’s odd that it has different behavior depending on whether you are using drag and drop or not but I guess it’s better if you want to have a group of files go to the same location to not have a dialog pop up with every file that you drop.
