Compressor 4.1/FXPX. Custom setting: “Prepare for HTTP Live Streaming”, Low, High, Mid
We are thinking of using, HTTP Live Streaming instead a 950×540 .m4v podcast file for iPhone, ipad devices.
When I look in Settings in Compressor, “Prepare for HTTP Live Streaming”: High, Low.I look around on an found these specifications:
5 video bit rates
Gear 1 – 416×234 @ 265 kbps
Gear 2 – 640×360 @ 580 kbps
Gear 3 – 960×540 @ 910 kbps
Gear 4 – 1280×720 @ 1 Mbps
Gear 5 – 1920×1080 @ 2 MbpsThese, @ x Mbps, is it speeds on the connection.
CUSTOM SETTING
I want to do a custom with following frame Sizes.
Low – 640×360
Mid – 960×540
High – 1920×1080 (Air play with Apple TV)But how do I prepare, “Prepare for HTTP Live Streaming”, for that.
Does it do it automatically when I chose in compressor:
Action> When done: “Prepare for HTTP Live Streaming”.Or does it depend on frame size, or video bit rate, or key words as High, Low, Mid
