  • Compressor 4 Channel Audio Export not working

I’ve been trying to export 4 channels of audio from FCP, sending it into compressor, so far it hasn’t worked. I have a timeline with 4 audio channels – 1+2 stereo mix and 3+4 music n effects mix… I’ve set the audio output of the sequence settings to DISCRETE CHANNELS, I’ve also set the audio outputs to 4 outputs… In compressor I set the audio to PASS THROUGH. when it renders it gives me a 4 channel quicktime, but every single the channel 3+4 contains no audio data… How can I get this to work properly?

In the timeline, you have to patch the channels to the outputs. The default is to patch everything to 1&2 to create a stereo mix. In the timeline right click near the little locks and you will see a patch menu that determines the track to outputs.
