Have a file on an Xsan volume, path as /Volumes/Xsan volume/folder/subfolder/file1.mov…drag and drop the file into a Compressor project…preview file prior to compression and realize it is an old file and it needs to be updated…trash /Volumes/Xsan volume/folder/subfolder/file1.mov and replace it with a totally new file, using the same name (/Volumes/Xsan volume/folder/subfolder/file1.mov)…drag and drop this file into the Compressor project and preview it prior to compression…the preview displays and plays the contents of the old file and not the new one…

Quit Compressor, saving project and relaunch Compressor opening the same project…preview of the file now displays and plays the contents of the new file…

Refresh issue? Cache problem? Or just another bug?

I think that if you have saved the Compressor project this can be a cache matter. However, there is not a single mention to a cache in the Compressor manual, neither a way to clean the cache in any of the menus.
