I have been using compressor to convert 10-bit RGB aja movies to proRes422HQ w/ 4:4:4 chroma filtering enabled.

The problem I am running into is the 10-bit RGB aja movies are all broadcast legal chroma and luminance, but after conversion the proRes movies are hotter and more saturated making them non-broadcast safe in both chroma and luminance which obviously is undesireable.

When I use quicktime player to do a conversion “manually”(same exact settings) it converts it correctly and the two movies are virtually identical in the scopes.

Any help in wrangling compressor in to convert the movies correctly?

    thanks

    Hmm…

What happens if you turn off 444 in Compressor? Are you trying to make proxies?
