Compression Workflow

Simply render the footage in the same codec / frame size as your FCP project. Rendering it in something like Lossless will only result in a larger file which will be compressed down into DV by FCP. I find that any After Effects project looks best when it’s created and rendered in the same frame size / codec as the FCP project.
