I have a 30 second commercial that I need to compress. I got compression specs asking for H264, under 100MB, with a bit rate of at least 50mbs. I’m having a really hard time getting my file (Apple Pro Res, 1920×1080, 29.97fps) to be under 100MB with a bit rate over 50mbs. I’m using Compressor. Is it possible?

What? That mathematically isn’t possible. 30 seconds x 50 megabits per second = 1500 megabits = 187 megabytes. I’m not sure what you can do besides go back to them and point this out. Not like you can change codecs or go to 720, 30 x 50 is still 1500 megabits.
