    Hi

    I am a MAC user (G5, AJA I/o, FCP6) and have about 30 two-three minute movies to compress in QT and Flash. I am somewhat conflicted as to what software is best for MAC and I’m pretty sure there are some editors who use Compressor for something like this…I am just OK with the results I’m seeing using Compressor (I need Flash output, though).

    I’m interested in either Episode or Media Cleaner and, as a MAC user, does anyone user have an opinion or some brief Pros and Cons about these two apps…or maybe some other ones I should try. The movies are in SD 8 bit uncompressed.

    Gary,

    Your best bet and most cost effective bet for Flash video encoding would be Flix Pro from ON2, the folks who created the Flash codec in use by all of the compression apps on the market. Search this forum over the last few weeks and you’ll see numerous posts.
