Compression settings
Hi. I am having problems with exporting movies from FCP 5 using compressor. I went through the handbook and followed the directions to a T. I am trying to export to mpeg 2 for dvdsp of course. It doesn’t seem that difficult but I keep getting the message “Unable to submit batch, unable to connect to background process.” I ve tried a couple different things with the same result. Has anyone had this problem? PLEASE HELP

Hi Andy. thanks for getting back to me. I wasn’t quite sure how to disable the disc utilities, do I just drag it to the trash? I didn’t see any option for disable in the disc utilities app. Also as crazy as this sounds, I dont think I have anti-virus software, is there a way to check? Get back to me when you can.
