Compression Question
New to working with 16:9 format. I’m trying to export my sequence for web viewing on my website and YouTube. I’ve tried a lot of different exports using Quicktime and Compressor. So far every setting I’ve tried squeezes the width of the project but not the height so the ratio is way off and it looks bad.
I’ve read enough on this forum to figure out how to make my sequence in Final Cut match my video and I’ve been able to export a Quicktime Movie with the correct ratio—but at 3.5gb for a 2 1/2 minute video, that won’t work for the web.
Anybody have a suggestion for either exporting out of final cut or compressing my .mov file that keep the aspect ratio intact?
Just in case it matters my sequence settings:
29.97 FPS
1440 X 1080
HDV 1080 i60
HD 1440 X 1080
