    Hello Creative Cow-er’s,

I have a problem with a rendered project coming out of AE using the Animation codec. We have a title sequence we created for an intro of a video that is in 1080p prores 422 (LT) but the problem lies in that everytime i import the AE intro into final cut and try to export the entire video out of fcp as a quicktime mov the intro title comes out pixelated with small jagged edges where they should be smooth. The AE title looks fine outside of final cut but after putting it into a sequence with the video and then exporting to upload to youtube it comes out pixelated. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I’m not sure what the problem may be, but I know people have suggested using ProRes4444 now out of AE, not Animation.

How are you exporting out of FCP? Are you exporting via QuickTime Conversion? Doing a QuickTime reference file? Or using Compressor?
