Compression For Web
I have Cleaner 6.0.2 and it seems to be acting stupid with something in the recent OSX (10.4.7) updates. It randomly quits. Is there anyone else having this issue? If there isn’t a fix (like purchasing 6.5 that also doesn’t work), what is another program that is better or like Cleaner? Shareware/Freeware would be nice. I have 70 files that need to be compressed in Quickitme and Windows Media!!!
Autodesk hasn’t a fix either!

Have you tried compressor? When I don’t use compressor, I use Sorenson Squeeze. It’s pretty cool.

Cleaner 6 won’t create high quality WM files without the Flip4Mac plug-in, which is a very good investment. Cleaner *does* create
very good Sorenson V3 QTs (with the SV3Pro).
I don’t know why it’s crashing, but have you tried trashing the prefs?
For WM, the only freebie is WM Encoder from Microsoft, but you need a PC.
On the Mac, Compression Master and Squeeze both do goodWMV and QTs, but you have to pay for them. 🙂
