    Hi All,

I have a TV show that I need to upload to a network. I use Final Cut Pro Studio and I usually send to Compressor. I received this format from the network. In the past I have used SD, so this wasn’t a n issue.

    Video Format: 1080i, 29.97 frames/sec (59.94 fields/sec) HD
Video Codec: MPEG-2 Long GOP, Sony XDCAM compliant.
Field Order : Upper Field first

It also says XDCAM HQ: 4:2:0 at 35 Mbps MXF……XDCAM HD422:4:2:2 at 50 mbps MXF(which I suspect is for those using XDCAM footage) But I’m not sure.

The footage was shot in HDV 1080i 60 (1440X1080). Compressor doesn’t have a setting for MPEG -2 with a Long GOP. It automatically uses a Closed GOP. This is all greek to me. Can anyone help me with this?
