    dear all

I am currently using Flash and WMV for videos on the web but am having lots of problems with wmv. I use Popwires compression master on my G5 for wmv and stick them on a streaming server. As yet i have not been able to get a wmv to work properly. Even using their simple presets they dont work.

The main reason for getting Compression master was its WMV encoding capability.

is anyone else having similar problems or is it just me???

I just tried one of the templates in CM 4.0.2 and streamed it from Windows Media 9 Streaming server (Windows 2003) without any problems!
Can you play your WMV’s locally?
Be aware of that you should have CBR on both audio and video if you should stream the files!

    Best Regards

Yes, using a VBR encoding method with mac wmv encoders is not liked by Server 2003. CBR should be fine however.
