Compressing QT file for flash drive.
I have just done a wedding video in FCP 7 it was in HD (108050i). I have exported from FCP as QT file (22GB) and would like to compress to about 8GB and put on a flash drive. I don’t really want to compress down to 4.7GB for DVD, as I don’t want to lose too much quality. Is this possible, how, and what format would be the best to use?

H.264. There are presets in Compressor for Quicktime 7 (defaults to H.264) and LAN settings. Try that…pretty high quality.
