Compressing multiple files
I have 40 interviews edited on FCP 6.0.2 Each interview is about 5 minutes long. I need to give these to my client as individual MPEG files for their website. Do I use MPeg4? What’s the best (quickest) way to export these? Do I export them individually into compressor and then batch process them?
Is there a way to do this overnight? Thanks.

Before doing 40 exports you should discuss this with your client.

What I would do is: create a Compressor droplet that has the perfect settings and a destination directory you wish for all 40 exports, then drag and drop 40 reference files that you export from FCP. (See the Compressor help or manual for creating a droplet.)

Thanks David…The client asked for MPEG files. What would you think are the most common? I would think MP4.

There are many flavors of MPEG and why I think you need to ask the client to specify.
