Compressing from m2v and ac3 combined?
Hi,
I’m using Sorenson Squeeze 5 Pro to produce a number of flash video files from various sources. Some of those sources are compressions for DVDs, i cannot locate the masters of these videos. Is there a way for me to compress using the two files – the split audio and video – produced for DVD building to make one file out of Squeeze other than taking extra steps to create the VOB, convert, etc.?

i’m afraid that doesn’t solve my issue. mpeg streamclip does not join those files and doesn’t even import ac3, unless i’m missing something.

I’ve not needed to do it myself but according to the website:
“It is compatible with MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video, MPEG layer 1/2 (MP1/MP2) audio, AC3/A52 audio, and PCM audio.”
Are you using OS X or Windows?

When you bring a .m2v file into MPEGStreamclip, the AC3 file with the same name goes with it. You can then export it to any number of file types, such as QT to use with Squeeze.
