I’m working on a video project in widescreen, and I’m wondering what the best way to export it in 16:9 and have the file size be under 100 MB but not look like crap. Before now I’ve been doing it in a ghetto way by putting it through VirtualDub as 4:3 then putting it through ReComp and by then it looks like ass. There’s got to be an easier way to do this. When I resize it in VirtualDub to 16:9 it errors when I try to save the AVI. I’ll post the error if it’s absolutely necessary. I recently figured out the Adobe Media Encoder option, but getting the ratio right with that has been impossibly irritating for me. And even when I do get the resolution right, it looks like crap.
