Compressing 40 minute video to under 2GB!?!
So I’ve just recently wrapped up with a documentary that runs a little under 40 minutes.
Quick specs:
1920×1080
24fps
proRes (LT) – FCP seq. settingsI usually use MPEG stream clip for compressing videos for internet/DVD, but for a certain site for film festivals I have to get this video to under 2GB. Generally, I’ll export a QT movie and bring that into MPEG S.C. and just export using h.264 which usually decreases size giving me the ability to upload online (youtube, vimeo) However, the QT movie out of FCP is about 21 GB.
Is it even possible to get this under 2GB without compromising video quality? If so, I’d love some help!
Any advice would be great!
Thank you!
