I have been searching-and experimenting-for quite some time now… hope to find a solution here….
For a project, I need to convert 4.5k footage (4480×1920) to a codec, a PC can read AND play. Meaning, the bitrate should be around 100 Mbps.
I have tried TMPGEnc XPress, but unfortunately, it can read it, but not output higher than 4k. But I need the full Resolution.

I have tried to transcode to MPEG-4 video, but the bitrate is still around 240 Mbps. If I set the “Limit Bit rate” lower, the quality suffers a lot.

I am using a MAC Pro for output, but it has to be played on a PC.
