First time with Cinema 4D, really any 3D package.
The problem is I have a logo created in Illustrator that is made up of some compound paths (ie. O, A)
The save the file as Illustrator 8 files import into Cinema 4D when I add the Extrude Nurbs all the compound paths fill in. The O doesn’t have the center part removed it’s all filled in.
I’ve looked online for a solution with no luck.

I’m just wondering the best way to deal with this problem.

select both splines in the ‘O’ (for example) and do a Functions/Connect. This will give you a new spline that contains both. Put that into the Extrude. The old splines will still be there, you can hide them or delete them.
