composition settings or footage set up mistake
Hi! I am having a very strange issue with a composition in after effects:
I have to set it up at 128 w X 128 h square pixels as frame size as final display in video file apple 422 HQ. I have an illustrator file set up at much higher resolution, same ratio. So no matter what I do, when I place it in the composition, the text and the designs are all pixelated. I have tried exporting at higher resolution as a MOV, which looks perfect, importing back into this small composition and see if that pixelation does not happen, it still does.
Is it because this is an extremely small sizing? is it possible client wants for such small display? I am puzzled and have no idea if these dimensions are suppose to even exist! (?)

I also forgot to mention that when I try to see the footage at full res, the view disappears… uploading screenshots here, thanks again!

How big (in pixels) is the Ai file?

Oh, and 128×128 is possible, but it might be helpful context for you to understand why your client is requesting this size / how it will be used.

Hi! thanks for the reply. apparently the preview is so small that it looked pixelated, when screening into the displays, it was fine, so now I know that previews don’t work in such small size! thanks anyway!
