Compositing issue in Prem Pro 1.5
Hi,
I’m editing a short film in Premiere Pro 1.5, and need a bit of help
on a compositing issue. I’m trying to take one shot, scale it and
composite in the background of another, as a guy remembers something
that happened to him earlier.Scaling etc is all good, no problems there, obviously. However, what
I want to do is change the shape of the composited area from the usual
(720×576 in this case) to a round or oval shape with feathered edges
whilst still keeping the subject of the memory visible and recognisable.Try as I might, I can’t get this to happen. I’m thinking an iris
effect may do it, but can’t get it to work the way I want it to.Can anyone give me any pointers on how to create this (very easy, I’m
sure, but I can’t see the wood for the trees at the moment!) effect?cheers,
