  • Compositing After Effects animation on video.

Hi. I am importing video footage from Adobe Premier and compositing some after effects animations on top of the video footage.

The animation and video footage are currently different frame rates. The After effects frame rate is 30 FPS and the Premier video footage is 60 FPS. Would this cause any issues?

If you’re planning on exporting the finished video at 60 FPS, then your video will definitely look inconsistent.
If you intend to export the final video at 30 FPS, then you can conform the Premiere video down to 30 FPS to match the animation.

If you can rework your After Effects animation to 60fps then you that should be fine too.
