I did try search for this question but to be honest I’m not entirely sure what you would call this kind of effect… not entirely sure what to call this thread either.
I have footage from a top down view of vehicle driving up the road.
The effect I was looking to achieve was having text appear as if it where written on the road and have the vehicle drive over it and the text scroll by with the ground.
I tried doing this manually by having the text move with the ground whilst keeping at the same level as a fixed point in the footage.
This though didn’t work as you could tell the text wasn’t “one” with the ground.Is there a way of achieving the desired effect?
I hope someone can make sense of these ramblings… I’m not very good at explaining things.

Your FX is going to be difficult to do in Premiere. Best left to After Effects and masks/cameras.

… and in AfterEffects, you’ll want to use “tracking”. Might be called “camera tracking” in AE — (I’m a Combustion user for FX). That will help match your text to the moving shot.
