(I’ve done a search with no results)

This is an easy question — Or I would have thought so but I can’t find the info anywhere on the net. All the pages regarding composite modes in final cut pro can give descriptions but they’re all a bit confusing. I want to find the exact equations for each composite mode but I can’t find them anywhere.

Does anyone know the proper maths for all the different composite modes. I thought it would be easy based on what I know of them. The descriptions are a little wobbly in my brain it would be much easier if I could have the equations to work by. I was going to make a diagram of the composite modes / equations but my brain broke halfway through trying to work out subtract and difference and screen. Owch. Thankyou to anyone who can help.
