    Composite Black screen

    Hi all,
    finally got commotion loading again, problem is that when I make a composite of a clip it’s just a black screen, I can see marker when I change size etc, and I can see a thumbnail of clip on timeline but nothing in composite window and if I try and add an effect like lensflare I see nothing.
    This is a new computer still only running quicktime 4 on safe mode,
    am I doing something stupid, or could it be a videocard setting

    any help appreciated,
