I have a new Mojo Box on our system and now the trouble begins. When i capture a clip from a beta-deck over the component input the signal looks like composite-Quality.I tried to measure my color setiings with the internal and an external vectorscope. The result was that the Y-signal from my Mojo Component out is 15 % lower as the incoming signal which comes from a testpattern generator.I modified my Proc-amps to the correct values ( Only Y to 1V ,Black to 0.3V and R-Y/B-Y ).Now the input and the output is equal.

It means the looped signal from in to out is perfect. When I capture material with the uncompressed settings the picture-Quality is OK when I use the DV420-Format the signal lookes like a composite signal from a VHS-Tape.The video quality setting on my timeline is set to best Quality. At first i thought its a faulty mojo box.I tried the next one.Same problem as before but the Colour levels with this unit are only 5 % lower .The next test was to play out the material from beta to dv-device and re-capture this over the mojo firewire port.Voila the signal is ok Does that mean that the mojo box makes a poor A/D Conversion ?

Any ideas ,has somebody the same issue ?

Did you import the test bars at 601 on the import settings?
