Component out issues
Hi,
I am trying to output video via the Decklink HD Pro DL PCIe version. I have downloaded the latest drivers and hooked up my Sony PVM-14N2U via the RGB cables. All I get are green squiggley lines. There is a bit of a picture in those green scan lines, but obviously not a usable one. I am not that familiar with the video nomenclature, but the BNC cables are labeled R-Y/R (I am assuming this is red), B-Y/B(blue?), Y/G (green?). I hooked the corresponding ends to the R,G and B plugs on the rear of the monitor. Lastly, there is a BNC cable labeled Reference In, I am assuming this is hooked up the the EXT SYNC plug on the back of the monitor. All I get are the green lines. Have I connected the cables incorrectly? I am able to connect one of the BNCs to a composite in and it works although it doesn’t look all that great. Lots of waviness and some scan lines, but an image. I really don’t think that it is the monitor, it has served me well before and gets a great image from the firewire out to a camera then out to S-Video. I am a bit concerned because there is rapidly closing window in which I must return the decklink card for a full refund. All cables are new. I am running FCS 2 (6.0.2). Please help!
