Sorry command is the FCP modifier. Freelancer who worked in Avid for a decade, then went FCP at home, now working onsite on the new Avid so very confused. However, there after some research I found the following:
Shift DOES still select mutliple edits, however, the trim mode now autoselects edits in strange was, where it will first put a double roller, then if you want to change it to a left or right hand single roller you have to unselect the side you DON’T want, so basically now click on the opposite side of where you want the roller.
Sometimes the roller defaults to the side where you do want the single roller, in which case I click on the same side where I want the roller.
Continuing to click will change rollers from yellow to purple. Now I get that yellow is what purple rollers used to be, and get that red rollers are overwrite, but if yellow is the new purple then what does purple now so???
Still trying to get my head around all this, and make sense of the new patterns which I can’t seem to predict. Anyone with further info or suggestions of WHAT avid now does when trying to use the standard trim mode would be great!
