Complex Slow Motion Idea
Hi,
I am going to shoot a band play their song 2 times as fast as they normally play it, shoot it in 60fps, and conform it to 30fps so it looks like they’re playing their song normally in slow motion. (pretty generic stuff)
SO. This is where it gets tricky.
I want this video to be in 24fps. If the band could physically play their song 2.5 times as fast, I wouldn’t have a problem converting the 60fps footage to 24fps and be done with it.
SO. My question is how can I shoot this in 60fps, slow the video down only at twice the speed, and successfully have a good looking video at 24fps?

Shoot 48 fps is the obvious answer.
