Completing a project in Encore then duplicating…small scale…
Hello Everyone,
I’m getting ready to complete a video on DVD for sale using the initial version of Encore and have just finished reading the few threads within this forum I could find on copyrighting.
Due to the fact that limited numbers of these DVD’s will be sold I was considering burning them one at a time using Encore and the CSS copy protection.
Will this work or has every nerd out there already cracked CSS? If CSS is totally outdated I’ll just take them into my companies main facility and burn ten at a time and spare myself the grief.
This video is VERY small scale (hopeful to sell 100) so I’m not looking to make DLT or Glass Master or anything. The only way to make some profit is to keep cost down. It’s simply a project on the side that has a small market.
ANY advice would be appreciated.

No worries. You can’t add copy protection or region coding to a burned disc anyway. To get that kind of protection, you have to send a master DLT to a replication facility.
