    Hi –
in the new add, it shows the Universal Videohub 288 Crosspoint at $19,995. Is this the price
for the complete system ? The big chassis and all I/O cross points for 288 x 288 ?

It should the Universal Videohub 288 for $8345. Is this the price for the empty chassis, and then you add in as many 4 x SDI I/O cards at $385 each that you want to add in ?

In the photo in the add, that multi pin connector does NOT look like a 9 pin D connector – it looks larger, like a 15 pin or 25 pin ? Am I going blind, or is this not a standard 9 pin RS422 connector ?

Please let me know as I was disappointed that the 144 x 288 Videohub never came out.

Seems to me like you need to add all the components up to get the full package.

    1 x chassis $8,345
    1 x Crosspoint $19,995
    72 x SDI interface $27,720
    1 x power supply $2,995
    72 x Remote Cable $5,400

    Total: $64,455

Yes you are correct about the remote, you need the breakout cable to access the RS422 ports.
