comped afx layer visible when it shouldn’t be using c4d camera export
Hi – I’m experimenting with the exported camera from c4d within After Effects. I can export a null from c4d and then swap the Null with a comp or image of my choice and it stays locked where I want it to be in 3d space. My question is:
1. Do comps have to be manually masked out in scenes/angles where they should not be visible ?
2. I know there is an object buffer that could be exported from c4d and integrated as a matte but that would still involve manually keyframing the mattes usage.
3. Is there another simpler way ?
Any help/advice would be great.
Joey
