I’m trying to use Audtion to create BWF format file versions of stereo tracks for music video playback. The basic workflow is:
    1. I rip the artist’s song into Audition, timestretch or timeshrink the track an appropriate amount to support lip-synch playback for slow-motion or fast-motion camera work,
    2. Save the track as a BWF file with SMTPE Timecode
    3. Copy the BWF file to my Sound Devices 744T, which is the playback machine on set.
    4. Use a smart-slate synced to the 744T for camera synch to sound.

The problem is, thus far, I am not able to make a compatible BWF in Audition which will work with my 744T. I have had no such problems with ProTools, but was really hoping to not have to go into the studio everytime I need to do this task. Has anyone worked with BWF & timecode successfully? Maybe I’m just not getting the settings correct. But I am using the workflow suggested by the Audition Help files.
    Thanks,
    Paul
