    Dear Guys.

Im planning to build my new rig to work with DL Extreme as follow:
Proccessor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz
    Mainboard: Intel D975XBX
    Run on Win XP X64.

Am I gonna face any compatibility problem with that kind of configuration?
Or should I just go with Intel Pentium D 3.4Ghz with Intel D975XBX running on Win XP Prof.

    Please Advice, Thank You

    Hi Ray

To begin please review the following link which outlines the differences in support on X32 and X64

    Should I run XP32 or XP64.
    https://www.blackmagic-design.com/support/detail.asp?techID=160

Originally X64 drivers were released for usage by Decklink Software developers who needed to run this platform. Depending on your workflow you may find that X32 offers more functionality and support.

    Hardware.

Decklink HD Extreme requires a 4x PCIe connection both phyisically and electrically.
    This is the minimum requirement.
    .
The intel boards listed at do not have PCI-X controllers
    https://www.blackmagic-design.com/support/detail.asp?techID=160

This limits the Disk array controllers available for your HD system.

If you have anymore questions let me know.
