Compatibility of CS4
I am thinking of building a new editing system, but just before the release of CS5, I purchased a copy of CS4. Would like to avoid paying for an upgrade if CS4 works well in Windows 7. Not sure if the “mercury engine” is a significant enough improvement for an overall decision.

CS4 works fine with win 7, also use a 64bit system with it, here is a white paper about this:

Even though its for the creative suite there are comments about Ppro CS4 -
