compatibility between MQ and AMQ tape
I’ve been using Panny MQ tape in my DVX-100b since I’ve had it and am very big on the ‘don’t switch stock brands/types’ rule.
Now that they’ve discontinued the MQ and replaced it with the AMQ, I’m wondering if anyone out there knows of any ‘switching stock’ problems with going from MQ to AMQ. I’m assuming that the wet/dry issue wouldn’t be a problem within the same brand, but… also curious if there’s any other issues there.

Consistency is more critical than any one brand. Switching to a different equivalent stock is not an issue- but stick with the new one. Also run the head cleaner before making the change.
