Comp won’t render out Rotobrush shots
Working on a 2012 iMac, AE CS6.
I have a 12 sec. composition with 5 layers of ProResHQ video. On two of the video tracks, I’ve used Rotobrush.
When I hit add to render queue and play out, AE does not render out the Rotobrush layers. Very frustrating. What am I missing?

When you finished using the rotobrush, did you press the “freeze” button in the layer window?

No, did not press the freeze button.

Rotobrush really saves time, but it definitely has a learning curve. That link above is a pretty comprehensive tutorial on how to use it and it’s feature. If you have the 25 minutes, it’s well worth checking out.

Ah, yes. Brilliant. The tute I watched was nowhere near that good. Thanks muchly for the link. Making sense now and up and running.
