Comp extractor
Hi everyone,
I’m aware of the script “True Comp duplicator” but I’m not sure that can help me here… I created multiple comps in an after effects project for a single client. Now I need to extract each composite in the .aep file to individual .aep files.
in other words. Each composite has to be standalone.
Is there a way to do this outside of sorting through the comp and deleting things over and over again? -

You can do this yourself with judicious use of Reduce project [link], or you can use Sébastien Perier’s Save Comp As Project script [link] to automate it.

I’ve been using “reduce project” but there are so many comps. reduce project, Save as, reopen rinse and repeat. It’s doable but arduous.
I think Sébastien Perier’s “Save Comp As Project” will work perfectly.
