Comp a Person out of a Shot
I have a couple of shots that I am looking to comp someone out of the background of.
I have never done this before and I am looking to find a basic guide as to how to best approach this. Basically just to get me started and then I can figure it out from there.
Also, if there are any great tips out there that anybody has who has experience in this, then please send them my way.

It really depends on the nature of the shot. Is the person moving? Is the camera moving? Are things behind them moving? How far in the background are they? What’s behind them? Does anything cross in front of them?
The basic principle of object removal, be it a person or a stunt wire, is to have an image of what would be there if they weren’t there and put it over top of them (and their shadow).
The exact methods can vary wildly.
