    Hey Guys!!

Is there someone who can help me out?! with a 3D after effects problem?

I’m working in CS3 for Mac and everything is just working fine, that’s hopefully not athe problem. I just can’t fix this 3D composition layer problem: I build like cubes in 3D and import this cube into a new compostion to build up complete buildings and stuff, but the 3D composition layers won’t grap into eachother, There in front of eachother! witch is impossible in 3d! If i change the order of the layer i can change this but if i go round with my camera the same thing happens the other way around.

Is there someone who can help me out, I’m starting to lose my patience!!
    already thanks

Hi. I have several layers linked together that animate a figure moving from right to left across the screen. I thought that if i copied and pasted those layers, and then flipped them, it would also flip the motion direction, but it did not. It simply appears as though the copied figure is moving backwards along the same position path as the original figure / layers.

can the movement path be flipped, or do i need to re-do the position path for the copied layers in order to get them going in the opposite direction?

    Thanks
    Laurence

I know of course how to transform vactor shapes from illustrator into masks or motion paths in after effects so don’t get me wrong this is different.
    Thank you in advance.

I see this question posted under “Common After Effects Questions,” but I don’t see an answer anywhere. I’m having this exact issue. I know I can hand-do the keying for the second object, but I’d like it to be an exact reflection.

My project is taking two objects, having them on opposite sides of the screen, move apart, collide, bounce back, collide again, etc. Think of rams butting heads or football helmet graphics colliding.

    Thanks!

OK. Answered it myself by accident. Posted a video which hopefully explains better than my words.

Answer: Duplicate the original comp. Add the second comp to the original comp. Select one of the comps, using the bounding box drag one side to the other. This will flip that comp over.

if what you want is reversing the motion path you can select the keyframes of the motion path on the layers you want to flip and rigth click–>keyframes assistant–>Time reverse keyframes

    hope it helps!! bye!
