Coming back to 24p workflow in FCP 5.0
Hello everybody and thank you so much for your help with this issue. I had eye surgery and only now I’m starting to recover and finally I red all the sugestions.
The footage was shot in Advance so I guess it will be less work, but once we do the capture and cut, my cliente wants an uncompress final product so they could deliver to any different format as needed (DVD,Beta,Film,etc) so my question is, after the editing is done, Can I just output uncompress 8bit from the timeline(29.97fps) or do I have to add any pulldown back to it so it looks correct?, because it is 24p but edited in a 29.97 timeline……

Sure- if they have a Kona card they can probably output from QuickTime directly to DigiBeta. Since you edited at 29.97 there is nothing to be done with pulldown.
