    Hello everyone.

The effect I am trying to achieve here is a kind of “comet tail” effect on text (or anything, really) that is being passed by very quickly by a camera (or vice versa) in the Z axis; kind of like when the U.S.S. Enterprise hits warp speed. The idea is to use this effect as kind of a split second transition from something in the foreground to something in the background. Simple keyframed effect or something more? Any help is much appreciated!

I would start with the echo effect and add some kind of blur. If it’s a fact move, also add motion blur.
