Combustion to After Effects
Hi guys, I created a graphic in combustion and rendered it out as a tiff and a tga, however I can’t get the black background on the graphic to become transparent in after effects, I think it has to do with the alpha, not quite sure though.

Dave I tried what you mentioned, it didn’t work for me, In combustion, when in the render settings, I use the targa sequence as the format, premultiply with color is checked, and color+alpha is highlighted. The depth is 8 bit. I dont know if you are familiar with Combustion or not. I also tried a tiff sequence and could not get it to work.

Hey thanks for your help. I eventually figured out what i was doing wrong and it was with combustion. The way i was setting up my graphic was incorrect. The rendering was fine, but when setting up my graphich i would just open combustion, new-particle then choose and animate one, which is incorrect. Correct method is new/composite, then right click the composite layer and click new/solid, right click the solid and click new/particle. Then it renders in a useable manner. Thanks again!
