combining video file with WAV. (hard to explain…read on)
Hi all –
I’ve had some video digitised and I now have DV files with no audio. And matching WAV files (one for left, one for right).
Now, when i do my 3 point editing (mark in out in source, send down to timeline) it is annoying to have to do this three times. Is there a way I can sort of combine these files within PPro without having to re-render out entire new files?I hope I explained this well enough.

Suggest putting the entire DV file on the timeline along with your audio tracks and export as a new DV file which then can be edited normally.

You can easily put it on a new sequence and treat it as one clip.

you can deal with one of the audio tracks by linking it to the video. What codec creates 3 files

cheers for the help. I realise I can link files on the timeline. But I wanted to be able to click on the video clip and view it, with audio, in the source window.
The vision was captured on a Pinnacle Liquid Blue. It made the vision and audio tracks all separate.
If I re-render them out of PPro with DV codec with the audio will I lose a generation of quality?
