    Hello,

I have footage from a series of musical performances which were shot using 3 cameras. All 3 cameras were recording at 720p25, but 2 were shooting XDCAM EX and the other camera was shooting HDV.

I want to try and bring this footage together as a multiclip for editing, but can’t do it because of the HDV footage – what is the best way around this?

Also what it the best way to edit using these two types of footage, in terms of time and preserving video quality? My final output is likely to be standard def.

    Thanks!

I would say that the only way you can use Multiclip would be to convert everything to a common format, such as ProRes.
