    Footage 2

I was about to post a thread like this, because I have 30 fps and 24 fps footage that needs to be rendered for broadcast. I’m going to get the specs soon on what settings they need to be, but I’ll probably need to get it all at 30 fps and never figured out how to render 24 fps for that without getting awful pulldown artifacts and ghosting.

I think I just figured it out. What frame rate are you rendering to?

For me, I have to render to 30 fps. So I right clicked the 24 fps footage, went to Properties, and clicked, “Disable resample” to avoid ghosting of frames, and that was it. My project properties were set to 30 fps interlaced, and I rendered to 30 fps progressive (by the way, for anyone who would know, I’m making a video for broadcast with this footage, and Comcast’s spec sheet says nothing about making the footage interlaced-am I safe in sending the mpeg file in progressive scan?).

Thanks for the tip! I dont think it matters which way i go for dvd spec but 30 looks like the way to go for this situation.
I hope things went well for you!
