    Hey Everybody…

We are having attempting to render large resolution h264 mp4 movie files (2732×1548) & (4104×1548). After much research we have discovered that a program called ‘compressor’ on the mac can indeed encode at these large sizes however our colours are not staying as accurate as we would like.

Does anybody happen to know of a program or workflow that will keep our colours the way they should be? Many thanks in advance…

Adobe Media Encoder should also work. The H.264 spec supports up to 4,096×2,304, so you might need to resize or trim the larger file.

There will be a slight color shift when using H.264 (and most other highly compressed codecs) regardless of the encoder. Severe issues probably indicate another problem. What media player were you using to view the H.264 file? Can you please describe the issue or post comparison pictures of a source and encoded frame?
