Colour correction from X to Premier
I’ve just shot a commercial and the agency is editing and grading in house on Premier. I want to make a few tweaks to the colour, but I prefer to work in FCP X using Colour Finale.
Does anyone know XtoCC takes any colour correction across or if not, is there a way of making the process work?

Hmm- considering how totally different the color correction in X works vs Premiere I’m guessing you will definitely not be able to accomplish this via XML. More like you burn in your grades, do a final output and they either cut to your version as another piece of media or they don’t…

Even if it were possible I believe fcpxml only supports colour information from the colour board, not third party plugins like Color Finale.

Show up to the edit bay with some crumble and ask for the changes- sometimes the best technical solutions are interpersonal ones.
